My name is Shaun McCarthy, I have had MS for 23 years and have been involved in fund-raising for MS for 16 years. I have organised many fund-raising events, running, swimming, auctions, raffles and many others. Although sometimes hard work, organising and taking part is great fun and can give a great feeling of satisfaction.  The initial £250,000 to create the BrAMS treatment centre has been raised and of course the centre is open, but we do need to continue to raise funds for additional equipment and  more staff. There are other ways to raise funds, making a donation or asking people to leave a legacy.. Perhaps you work for a company that may want to make a donation or encourage staff to organise an event or team building challenge. This centre has been needed for many years and now it is within sight, please help us in any way that you can and help us help people with Multiple Sclerosis.

Kind regards
Shaun
